Our Services:
From Technology Consulting to Warehousing

From concept to cost-effective manufacturing, Teigler quickly and efficiently finds solutions for even the most challenging problems. We consult and support you with regard to your application and requirements in selecting the appropriate elastomeric material, as well as in designing the geometry of your elastomeric component. We not only utilise our own material formulations but also develop new formulations for our customers. Furthermore, we also have our own testing laboratory for sample parts and prototypes. As a special service, we also offer warehousing and logistics.

Coatings

We offer rubber, polyurethane (PUR)/Vulkollan®coatings on customer’s metal parts – in any geometry and coating thickness, for complete parts, reworked parts or entire modules.

Whether you have large surfaces or small, intricate areas – we particularly recommend PUR coatings for high wear, protection or anti-slip requirements. Depending on the coating thickness, we can provide options with spray coating or by casting PUR.

Surface treatments/finishes

In addition to selecting the appropriate elastomer, the surface can also be customized depending on the properties desired for the elastomer component. Depending on the elastomer material, we offer the following surface treatments and finishes:

Fluorination

by introducing fluorine atoms to improve anti-friction properties of the elastomer surface, as well as temperature and weathering resistance.

Anti-friction coating

of the surface to improve anti-friction properties and prevent static fractures.

Mounting/Assembly aids

through self-adhesive systems for precise positioning.

Technology Consulting

In addition to the competence and capabilities within the manufacturing and distribution of technical specialty products, Teigler also offers comprehensive consulting expertise. We draw upon experience accumulated in over eighty years of providing solutions for individual and specific technical customer requirements.

How should I design my product? What is the appropriate material? Which manufacturing process is viable? We ensure the best solution for you from both a technical and economic perspective. We provide guidance in material development to optimise components and develop tailor-made solutions (formulations) based on customer specifications.

Initial sampling and approval process

We cover the entire process of initial sampling and approval of series parts (also known in the automotive industry as PPAP – Production Part Approval Process).

To swiftly and effectively realize your project, you can rely on our structured initial sample inspection and serial part approval process. We assist you right from the creation of the 3D data, as these are the foundation for successful approval. Alongside the application purpose of your elastomer part, the focus is particularly on the manufacturing implementation. This involves not only the appropriate tool design but also economical and sustainable aspects, such as minimal material waste or reduced tool wear. Initial sample inspection reports according to VDA Volume 2 are our standard practice. IMDS entries are no problem either.

Testing Laboratory

For over 20 years, we have been operating our own testing laboratory, to test elastomeric products and articles for our customers during new developments, sampling processes and ongoing quality controls. We are particularly capable of conducting mechanical and optical inspections. Furthermore, we collaborate with external laboratory partners and, upon request, can facilitate testing by independent institutions for our customers.

Tensile Testing Machine

With our ZwickRoel testing machine, we can simulate compression and tensile stresses on our rubber-metal elements. Static loads of up to 30 kN and dynamic tests of up to 15 kN are possible. This enables us to determine and demonstrate damping properties as well as vibration isolation capabilities.

Digital Measuring Projector

Our Keyence digital measuring projector, type IM-8000, is particularly suitable for measuring elastomeric articles. The non-contact measurement down to the μ-range allows for precise quality assurance without distortion, as it is contactless and suitable even for very small and delicate rubber parts. In addition, digital documentation is possible.

Warehousing and Logistics

One of our core tasks is warehousing and logistics for our customers. For this purpose, we have a well-stocked specialised warehouse for elastomer technology, spanning over 1,000 m², where we keep products and articles for our customers, whether as safety stock or in quantities tailored to framework agreements or annual requirements.

With the complete transition of our warehouse management to barcoding in 2018, we also introduced comprehensive batch management at the same time. We respond quickly to inquiries and orders. Our rule is: If ordered by 1 pm, the goods will be dispatched on the same day!

For over two decades, we have been supplying our customers in the automotive industry and construction machinery sector with materials according to the KANBAN principle. This enables us to deliver just-in-time or just-in-sequence. For our customers, this means relieving their purchasing department and reducing storage costs as well as saving of packaging material.

Rework / Industrial Manual Work

Teigler also specialises in rework and industrial manual work for elastomers. With many years of experience, we deliver precise and high-quality solutions. Whether it’s mould adjustments, surface finishing, reworking, bonding, vulcanisation or assembly work – we are your reliable partner.

You can trust us when it comes to outstanding results in elastomer reworking. Thanks to meticulous craftsmanship and advanced techniques, we are able to respond precisely to your requirements with tailored solutions and achieve first-class results.
